Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Region 3, is soliciting proposals for a firm, fixed priced contract for Contracting Technical Assistance Services. The selected contractor will independently provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the USFWS, Region 3. The primary objective is to provide contractor services and deliverables for the execution of contract and federal assistance programs. The contractor must have a working knowledge and familiarity in IDEAS (the Interior Department Electronic Acquisition System) and FAADS (Federal Assistance Award Data System) as well as web page development using Dreamweaver and FileZilla software packages. A general understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations and federal contracting processes is necessary. The work is to be performed onsite at the USFWS Region 3 headquarters office at Fort Snelling, Minnesota. The proposed contract is for a base period of performance from October 1, 2007 through September 30, 2008, plus four additional option years. This solicitation is 100-percent set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 518210 with a corresponding small business size standard of $23 million. The Request for Proposal (RFP) package will be available approximately August 13, 2007, with proposals due on or about August 27, 2007. Hard copy solicitations will not be mailed unless specifically requested. The RFP will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
