Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. This requirement is for 2 each ASDS Power Supplies, one of the two power supplies shall be tuned for a minimum of 20 VDC output vice 150 VDC. Power supplies shall be built in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 6395253, CDRLs apply. The drawings and specifications contain information that has been designated as Militarily Critical Technical Data. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration database, must be certified under the Joint Certification Program and be SUBSAFE certified in order to receive the technical package. Inspection will be at Source by DCMA and Acceptance will be at Destination. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance and price related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 9 August 2007 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?.
