- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases (CCID), National Center for Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID), Special Pathogens Branch is seeking to award a sole source commercial contract for one (1) cell Leica SP5 Confocol Microscopy System. The Government has determined that Leica Microsystems is the only responsible source for this requirement. This is the only confocol system that includes the fluorescence Resonance Energy Microscopy system that satisfies the Government?s requirement to measure the dynamics of virus protection distribution in a cell. The Government intends to Request quotes on 31 July 2007, with award by 31 August 2007. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
