- Description
- The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to negotiate a funded modification of a purchase order to House Market Research, Rockville MD on a noncompetitive basis to conduct consumer testing on the wording and location of the current warning label and any proposed changes to the warning label on indoor tanning equipment to ensure that the appropriate risk information is being conveyed to consumers using sunbeds and sunlamps. The estimated cost of the work is $31,002.00. The methodology is virtually identical to work on cardiovascular device warning language previously awarded to this contractor under contract no. HHSF223200610009C using competitive procedures. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources may submit descriptive literature, fully documenting their capabilities, which will be considered by the agency. FDA intends to make an award fifteen (15) days following the date of this notice. A determination to compete this procurement based on response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. See note 22.
