- Description
- The United States Coast Guard (USCG) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Maximus, Inc. The purpose of this procurement is to obtain Contractor Program Management and Life Cycle Maintenance support services for the U.S. Coast Guard Medical Information Management office?s Dental Common Access System (DENCAS) Web and DENCAS Remote, providing professional direct services in support of DENCAS. Maximus Inc. is the only vendor capable of providing support to the DENCAS for the USCG MIS. Maximus is the only known vendor that demonstrates a unique and innovative concept or demonstrates a unique capability of the source to the requirements of this task. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13. The period of performance will be from 1 August 2007 through 31 July 2011 including a Base and 3 Option Years. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1, a Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file.
