- Solicitation W911QX-07-T-0198 is for an Evaporation System. The Army Research Laboratory (ARL) has a need for a commercially available thin film, multi-diameter wafer, microprocessor controlled electron beam evaporation system. This evaporation syst em will be used to deposit thin films for micro device research and fabrication. Delivery of this unit shall be made to the Army Research Laboratory, Adelphi, Maryland within 90 days after issuance of the contract. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be released immediately, and will include a complete set of specifications. The solicitation is set aside for small business concerns only. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334516 with a size st andard of 500 Employees. Interested parties are advised that there will be no paper copies of the solicitation issued. The solicitation and solicitation amendments, if any will be made available on-line at Federal Business Opportunities http://www.fedbiz opps.gov/.
