- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the request for quote for the required item under RFQ N6268807RC068FN. A subsequent solicitation document will not be issued. FISC Norfolk intends to purchase the following item(s): STATEMENT OF WORK: TRAILERS ARE USED TO TRANSPORT HARBOR SECURITY BOATS BETWEEN KITTERY, MAINE AND LITTLE CREEK, VIRGINIA IN ORDER TO SUSTAIN PORT OPERATIONS THROUGHOUT THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1. THREE 6,000 LBS. CAPACITY DROP-CENTER SAFE-T-LUBE SUBMERSIBLE AXLES 2. 18,900 LBS. GVWR (NET CARRY CAPACITY 16,365 LBS.) 3. MIG-WELDED 8? CHANNEL STEEL CONTRUCTION (3? REINFORMCEMENT BRIDGE) 4. ALL-WHEEL ELECTRIC 12? BRAKES WITH STAINLESS CADMIUM DISC. 5. SEVEN (INCLUDING SPARE) 16? LOAD RANGE ?D? GOODYEAR RADIAL TIRES WITH SILVER E-COATED WHEELS AND SPARE MOUNT. 6. INTERIOR ADJUSTABLE TREATED LUMBER WITH EDGES ROUTED AND MARINE-CARPETED BUNKS. 7. STRUCTURAL FENDERS WITH ANTI-SKID SURFACE. 8. 7,000 LBS. CAPACITY DROP-LEG TONGUE JACK. 9. MANUAL 2 SPEED WINCH WITH 6,000 LBS. CAPACITY AND 3? STRAP WITH ADJUSTABLE BOW STOP/WINCH STAND. 10. 20,000 LBS. CAPACITY LOCKING COUPLER AND PINTLE WINCH 11. TWO SAFETY CABLES WITH BREAK-AWAY SYSTEM AND BUILT-IN BATTERY CHARGER 12. SEALED SUBMERSIIBLE LED SAFETY LIGHTS (ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS SHRINK WRAPPED) 13. EPOXY PRIMER, POLYURETHANE PAINT SEALED WITH CLEARCOAT Delivery to various points on the East Coast from Maine to Virginia.
