- This is combined synopsis/solicitation notice for commercial services prepared in accordance with the FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The objective of this contract is to present two training courses entitled, ?Diagnostic and Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine? and ?Brachytherapy, Gamma Knife and Emerging Technologies? to NRC personnel in accordance with the requirements outlined in the statement of work (Attachment No. 1). THIS NOTICE IS FOR THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION THAT WILL BE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation No. HR-07-371 herein is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP is full and open competition and the North American Industry Classification System Code is 611519. The size standard for this solicitation is average annual receipt of $18.5 million over the past three years, as set forth under the North American Industry Classification System. Proposals for this requirement may be submitted by all businesses, i.e., large businesses, small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, woman-owned businesses, etc. The NRC intends to issue a Commercial Services, Fixed Price, Requirements Type contract with a one (1) year base period of performance and four (4) one-year option periods. Offeror shall submit fixed prices for each option year of the five-year period of performance. All questions or inquiries concerning the solicitation shall be addressed to Carolyn A. Cooper by e-mail to cac3@nrc.gov. The closing date for this solicitation is August 3, 2007. Accordingly, all proposals are due to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) not later than 3:30 PM, eastern standard time, on August 3, 2007. All proposals shall be addressed to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Division of Contracts, Attn: Carolyn A. Cooper, RFP No. HR-07-371, Mail Stop T-7-I-2, 11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852.
