- Dollar magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $50,000. The performance time is 30 calendar days. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, plant, labor and supervision to prepare surfaces and apply two coats of paint to the interior walls, door trim, and window trim in the main laboratory building of the Southern Hardwoods Laboratory, Stoneville, MS. The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary to clean, prepare, and stain exterior walls and apply roof coating to Utilization and Warehouse buildings located at the Delta Experimental Forest compound. This solicitation will be will be evaluated using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value of the Government. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest price. Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections M of the solicitation. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238320, with a small business size standard of $13,000,000 average gross annual receipts. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about August 2, 2007 on Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies or CDs will not be available for bidding purposes. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Contractor proposal is required to be submitted in paper form.
