- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY ? The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Medical Marketing Service, Inc., 185 Hansen Court, Suite 110, Wood Dale, IL 60191. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase the American Dental Association Database File ((236,687 records). HRSA Office of Information Technology currently uses the ADA Database, but requires the UPDATED data. The requested data will be incorporated into the HRSA Geospatial Data Warehouse (HGDW). The ADA Database File is unique, and the only source of information on dentists that combines current information on the locations and practices of dentists with information in their training. As the major membership organization for dentists, the ADA is in a unique position to compile and assure the completeness of this data. This data is proprietary data of the ADA, and Medical Marketing Service, Inc. (MMS) is the sole supplier authorized by the ADA to market the American Dental Association?s Database File. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. The period of performance for this project is 6 months. In accordance with FAR 13.501(a) Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition is on file. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
