Description
THIS IS 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center (ELC), Baltimore, MD has a requirement to issue a Requirements Type Contract, Firm Fixed Priced, from date of award for base year with options to renew for four (4) additional years is anticipated. Solicitation will be issued using Commercial Acquisition Procedures utilizing the Test Program for Commercial Items in accordance with FAR 13.5 for one (1) item in estimated annual quantities as follows: 0001. 6210-01-GL3-4426, 14 inch Range Lantern, estimated annual quantity, 130 each. 0001a. First Article for 6210-01-GL3-4426, 14 inch Range Lantern, quantity, 3 each. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAIC) is 334511 and the size standard is 750 employees. The 14 inch range Lantern must conform to the requirements set forth in U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center specification number P-422-0310 Rev B dated October 2006 and associated drawings. To ensure compliance with specified requirements, first article tests will be performed on a quantity of 3 each first articles before production is authorized. The solicitation, specification and associated drawings and documents will be available for download from www.fedbizopps.gov. on or about 10 August 2007. This date is estimated at best. The closing date for receipt of offers is contingent upon the release of the solicitation but is estimated to be 31 August 2007. This synopsis is issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and HSAM 3006.302-1. For information regarding this acquisition contact the Contract Specialist listed herein. Requests for copies of the solicitation and associated documents are NOT available to be mailed. Production delivery is required Delivery is 150/180 days after receipt of delivery order. FOB: Destination, U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, Maryland 21226-5000. Packaging/packing shall be in accordance with ASTM-D3951 ?Standard Practice for Commercial Packaging?. Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-129,and bar coding is required and shall be in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Bar Coding Specification number D-000-0100 Revision F dated 06/00.
