- The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Director of Contracting, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Visual Instrumental Corporation, 1110 W. Avenue L-12, Unit 2, Lancaster, CA 93535-7039. The contr actor shall provide Complete Hi-g & high-intensity LED lighting system to provide illumination for high speed digital imaging conducted within the interior of MRAPS Vehicles. The Visual Instrumental Corporation is manufactured specific and sole source as t hey were designed to meet the specific technical/range needed. All equipment, including the voltage regulators, batteries, triggering circuitry, and operational run times all were designed to function with existing government furnished equipment. The Nor th American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 335129 and the size standard is 500. Interested persons may identify their interest in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no la ter than 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, July 20, 2007. This notice of intent is not a request for cocmpetitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
