This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside for NAICS Code 423830 which is set at 100 employees. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote, Solicitation Number W910NA-7124-9006. The USPFO for South Dakota located in Rapid City, South Dakota has a requirement for 1 each CAT Forklift Model DP50K brand name or equal. Salient Characteristics associated with this acquisition are: 1. Capacity of 11,000 pounds. 2. Extended 72 forks, extra wide carriage of 67 (between forks) with side shift and hydraulic fork adjustment from the cab. 3. Four way hydraulic control valve. 4. Four way internal housing for three stage free view mast. 5. Triple stage mast. 6. Soft solid tire. 7. Dual front tires with one set of tire chains. 8. Diesel Engine. 9. Minimum heights lift of 12. 10. Overall lowered height equal to or less than 108 . 11. Roll Over Protection System and seat belt. 12. Fire extinguisher mounted and included. 13. Headlights, stop, tail, turn and back-up lights. 14. Must meet the Buy American Act. If the offeror is not proposing the CAT Forklift Model DP50K brand name and model they are required to submit technical data about their forklift to demonstrate the item offered meets the Governments requirements. This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The following Numbered Notes from Federal Business Opportunities apply: 1 and 23. Offerors shall provide the unit price and total amount, inclusive of shipping costs (FOB Destination). Equipment shall be shipped to the SD UTES #1, 3800 E Benson Rd, Sioux Falls, SD 57104-9600. Provide the estimated delivery time after receipt of order . Offerors must submit a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS COMMERCIAL ITEMS with the price quote or may complete the representations and certifications on the internet at http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to include the certification along with a quote will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offers are required to meet the minimum mandatory specifications listed in the above Salient Characteristics. The government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contr act resulting from this notice on an all or none basis. Evaluations will be performed by the Governments Technical Team and will be based on Technical and on Price related Factors. Technical factors are more important than Price related Factors. The pro posal best meeting the Governments need will be selected. Contractors must be capable of accepting electronic fund payment for this procurement.
