- The US Army Research, Development and Engineering Center, Natick Contracting Division, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for an award of a fixed price contract with Southwestern Industries of Compton, CA, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), Supplies available from original source for follow-on contract for continued development or production. A quantity of 1 each, Trak K3 Knee Mil 32 x 16 , 3HP with PTSMX CNC, to include installation and training; Advanced Features SMX; Converter DXF File; Work Lamp; Power Draw Bar; Remote Stop/Go Switch; Auto Lubrication Pump; Fog Buster Spray Coolant System; and Knee Power Feed. The se product is needed by the Government from the original contractor for the continued research, development and production. The NAICS code for this action is 333512.
