- Description
- Red River Army Depot has a requirement for blasting, prepping, and chemical agent resistant coating (CARC painting) of M939 series trucks. This solicitation will be set aside 100% for small businesses under NAISC 811121. This requirement is part of the Depots remanufacturing process. The trucks must be picked up at the Depot, transported to the contractors facility, blasted, prepped, and painted in accordance with the scope of work contained in the solicitation and returned to the Depot for the f urther processing. The contract will be for a base year plus one option year. The estimated quantity is 500 trucks per year. There are no guaranteed quantities. The solicitation will result in one or more requirements contracts. Small businesses that a re capable of doing substantial quantities of these trucks but less than the estimated quantity of 500 trucks per year are encouraged to submit proposals in the event multiple awards are deemed to be in the Governments best interest. The solicitation including the statement of work will be available on the issue date of 31 July 07.
