- Description
- This acquisition is a total set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. The work consist of renovating bldg M4346, an ARHOC 4+4 type barracks to the 1+1 barracks standard to provide individual sleeping rooms with walk-in closets, kitchenette, and shared bathroom. Work includes repair/replacement to current standards HVAC, plum bing, and electrical/communication systems. Work will include two integral company operations facilities within the building. Phasing will be required with the renovation of the company operations facilities. The building will have a new automatic fire s prinkler system, and a UFC compliant fire detection and alarm system. Project replaces a deteriorated roof, unusable windows with brick veneer, repairs existing brick veneer and minor landscaping. Interior demolition is required to realign the building to the 1+1 barracks standard. Project will also include asbestos abatement. The contract will be Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). The project will be solicited and procured using a Low Price Technically Acceptable Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with Fe deral Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-2. Options may be included. Network Analysis will be required. MAGNITUDE OF WORK is $4,000,000 to $6,000,000. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of t his solicitation.
