Description

The National Park Service has a requirement for the installation of new HVAC Equipment at the Visitor Center and Administrative Offices of Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, Harrison, Nebraska The project consists of the replacement of existing gas fired furnaces, new central AHU with VAV terminal units and electric reheat. New DDC temperature control system and water softener for humidifiers. Work includes minor cutting and patchng of gypsum board, removal and reinstallatino of lay-in-ceiling, removal of existing windows and installation of wall louvers, and miscellaneous carpentry and painting. The Governmet intends to occupy all portios of the buindging surrounding the proposed remodel area. The Visitor Center will remain open during this time. NO DEMOLITION WORK CAN BEGIN UNTILL ALL MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS ARE ON SITE. The magniturde of this project is be tween $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS Code is238220, P&S:Z299. This project is subject to Public Law 100-656 the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to Large and Small Businesses alike. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This solicitation wil be available ONLY!! at the DOI Website(http://ideasec.nbc.gov) O/A August 3, 2007 and unless amendments are issued extending the solicitation, the offers are due in this iffice on September, 4, 2007 at 2:00 PM MT. In order to download a copy of the solicitation vendors will be asked to register their company with the electronic commerce website. Be prepared with your company DUNS Number, available from Dun and Bradstreet at 1-888-546-0024 and your federal Tax Identification Number (TIN).
