- Lake Mead NRA, well repair, Clark County NV. This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 2, 2007, PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Solicitation Number N8360071321. The scope of work for this contract consists of: Installing new pipe and fittings to put the "blow to daylight" line back into service; remove the vertical turbine pump, base plate, and motor assembly; inspecting and assessing of the condition of the pump components and annotating the data and dimensions on a "Well Pump Data Form"; measuring the depth of the well to determine the elevation of sediment buildup; removing sediment from the bottom of the well if sediment is above the 95 foot level; perform an under water video inspection of the screens and well casing; if any damage to the well casing or screened section is identified during the video inspection, the contractor will submit a written proposal of the type of repairs recommended with a detailed cost estimate; Sonar-Jet? the screened portion of the well casing; remove all sediment, lost tools, broken parts and debris from the bottom of the well bore to restore the depth to approximately 107 feet; the installation of a new pump and 60 hp motor assembly; and pump test the new equipment to ensure that a minimum 400 gpm, plus or minus 10%, is achieved. Work will be in accordance with the scope of work, drawings and other attachments. This acquisition is conducted as full and open. NAICS code 237110, applies to this acquisition. This is a Best Value procurement and will use a comparative evaluation of proposals based on price, past performance and technical qualifications. It is mandatory that all contractors register in the Central Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) prior to award. The anticipated award date is on or about September 10, 2007. Responses from offerors will be accepted at the address listed in the solicitation in hard copy until the due date and time specified in the Solicitation, with the manual signature of the authorized company official.
