- Description
- The U.S. Marine Corps will be soliciting for wood hauling. Wood chips which consist of scrap wood processed thru a bio-grinder to remove nails, screws, and bolts or bulk wood. Contents must be disposed of in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations by reuse or recycling. Contractor is to provide three 40-cubic yard roll-off containers. Estimated annual quantity is 1500 tons 167 container hauls. All work will be according to the Statement Of Work (SOW) contained in the solicitation. Contract will be issued for one base year and two option years. This procurement is being conducted under the simplified acquisition procedures identified within FAR 12 for commercial items as a combined synopsis/solicitation. As such, the award may be made within 30 days of the date of this announcement. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of amendments (if any). Contractor must have a current registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil.
