- This requirement is for non-personal Technical Services under an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type contract to provide support to the Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC), Seattle, WA, on an as-needed basis. General and specific personnel requirements and duties for technical personnel will be provided through individual Task Order(s) for work to be performed at the NWFSC facility in Seattle, WA, and/or various other NMFS sites within the region for which the Center provides support. The Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC) requires scientific services to assist in the performance of work related to the National Marine Fisheries Service mission. Services are required on an intermittent basis related to scientific projects that expand or are initiated. Contract success will be based in the review of deliverables, ability to complete the services with accuracy and skill, and in a timely manner. Labor categories to fulfill these scientific support services will include as a minimum the following: Molecular Genetic Technician, Microbiology Technician, Biological, Chemical, and General Lab Technician, Electronics Technician, Project Mechanic, Project Support Technician, Research Field Technician, Social Science Technician, Mathematics Technician, Hydrologic Technician, Technical Editor (scientific), computer Specialist, Computer Support Technician, Web Developer, Mail Room Technician, Technical Editor (IT), Web Content Designer, Library Technician, Archives Technician, Visual Information Technician, Database Technician, Database Designer, Database Administrator, Contents and Requirements Tester, Geographic Information Systems Specialist. Other categories may be identified in the published bid schedule. Any resulting contract will produce firm-fixed price task order(s). The period of performance is for one (1) base year and four (4) additional one-year option years with a minimum ordering amount of $10,000 for the life of the contract and a maximum of $3,750,000.00 over the life of the contract. This is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code: 541990 Size limit for small businesses is $6.5 million. This solicitation shall only be available electronically on FedBizOpps. Solicitation shall only be posted after all DOC reviews therefore the post or issued will most likely be later than the date listed here. The Western Administrative Support Center, Acquisition Management Division, requires that all contractors doing business with this acquisition office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) before October 1, 2003.
