- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-4740-S-07-0100 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text format at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification code is 322211. A quotation is requested to provide the purchase of CORRUGATED BOXES TO BE USED FOR SHIPPING over a period of one year. An IDIQ contract is anticipated. All quotations must be received by the closing date of this solicitation and will be considered best and final. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation of quotations will be made on past performance, ability to meet delivery schedule, technical approach, and price. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the FAR provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The FAR clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. SEE ATTACHMENT FOR QUANTITIES, SPECIFICATIONS, and STANDARD FORM 1449 (which must be returned completed and signed. Quotes must be received by 08/03/2007 at 10:00 a.m. CD at USDA, AMS, Cotton Program, If an offeror?s quote does not contain all of the items listed above, the quote may be considered incomplete for evaluation purposes and no further consideration will be given to the offerors quote, thereby making an offeror ineligible for award.
