- Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Administrative Services Division/IT Contracting, 4700 River Road Unit 45, Riverdale, MD, 20737, UNITED STATES USDA/APHIS/MRPBS/ASD/PDMCS has a need to seek vendors who can provide commercial off-the ?shelf (COTS) software that can meet the following Technical specifications: Computerized Data Warehouse Software to include: 1. Online Web Ordering 2. Order Processing 3. Procurement/Purchasing 4. Inventorying/Warehousing 5. Receiving 6. Distribution 7. Data query and reporting APHIS, MRPBS, Printing, Distribution, Mail and Copier Solutions (PDMCS) distributes MRP publications to the public directly or through MRP agency sponsored events, where publications are presented to the public. PDMCS stores and inventories approximately 500 publications and distributed over 2,800,000 copies last year. The distribution of publications continues to grow as Legislative Public Affairs (LPA), Animal Care, Biotechnology Regulatory Services, Plant Protection & Quarantine, Veterinary Services, and Wildlife Services in APHIS develop and produce more publications. We are faced with the challenge that the current process for storing, inventorying, customers placing orders, fulfilling customer orders and distribution is manual and cumbersome. PDMCS requires a Web Ordering and Electronic Inventory system that would allow customers to request publications through an electronic ordering system (Web based) and provide tracking of the customer order by PDMCS. The electronic system would also enable PDMCS to electronically track inventory on-hand and replenishment requirements, as well as, tracking receipts and shipments of publications to and from Riverdale, MD. This Sources Sought intended which is intended to supplement the USDA?s procurement planning process. Any vendor responding to this request will need to submit commercial technical and cost data associated with their commercially available product and Company Information as follows: (l) Company Name and Address information: 1). Company contact information; 2) Product Name and related technical information/specifications; 3) Company size (LG, SB, etc),; 4) Published Product Technical specifications; 5)Commercial product listing information,either as open market, and/or under existing contract vehicles (GSA FSS, GWAC, etc) and, (6)Existing County, State, and or Federal Agencies currently using company product.
