- Description
- The Upper Santa Clara Vegetation Management Project is designed to move the project area toward the Desired Future Condition by using commercial timber harvest, pre-commercial thinning, slash piling, and prescribed fire. Connected actions include road improvements, and forest health and campground improvements. Planned treatments would be in the ponderosa pine and mixed conifer forest types between 7,000 to 8,000 feet in elevation. There will be a pre-bid meeting at the Supervisors Office which is located at 1789 North Wedgewood Lane, Cedar City, Utah on August 30, 2007 at 12:00 noon. Interested bidders are encouraged to attend. This solicitation will be uploaded to this same website on approximately August 10, 2007 and proposals will be due on September 10, 2007 @ 4:30 p.m.
