- MODIFICATION FOR MINOR CHANGE TO STATEMENT OF WORK: It should be noted that these card readers need to be compatible and easily integrated with the new laboratory facility Sensormatic Electronics Corporation/Software C-Cure 800 security system. The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Mississippi Laboratories, located at 705 Convent Avenue, Pascagoula, MS plans to issue a purchase order to a Contractor capable of providing and installing one sliding security gate with gate controller and card access systems and the conversion of one swing gate into an automatic entry system with gate controller and card access systems. The estimated size of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials and supplies (to include one sliding gate) necessary to install two (2) security gates with Automatic Card Access Systems to the fence surrounding the National Marine Fisheries Service warehouse area. The Contractor shall NOT provide access cards. The gates shall be installed at entrances to the NOAA facility at the end of Watts Avenue and at the end of Delmas Avenue. SITE VISIT: All interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend a site visit to conduct measurements and inspect the site. It is the Contractor?s responsibility to perform a site visit to clarify any discrepancies in the Performance Work Statement and to determine any existing conditions that may affect their quote. Site visit date/time scheduling will be at the Government?s discretion and will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. Site visits may be scheduled by calling Gayla Fornea at 228-762-4591 X175.
