- This is a Sources Sought Notification for the design, fabrication, inspection and delivery of Internal Junction Boxes and internal wiring. This is only an expression of interest. There is no RFP available at this time. Shaw AREVA MOX Services, LLC (MOX Services) is seeking suppliers/subcontractors with experience supplying Glovebox Internal Junction Boxes (Reference 10CFR50, Appendix B Quality Assurance Program). The Glovebox Internal Junction Boxes to be acquired will support the construction of a Mixed Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility (MFFF) to be built at the Department of Energy (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS). The Glovebox Internal Junction Boxes will be purchased under a Requirements Subcontract. Glovebox Internal Junction Boxes - Description The Glovebox Internal Junction Boxes shall have an Ethylene Propyleen Diene Methylene (EPDM) sealing gasket between the cover and the box and be qualified for the radiation exposure (total integrated dose) of 1.8 X 106 RADS. EDPM shall not be more than 6 months old prior to shipment. Interested parties must possess a working NQA-1 or 10CFR50 Appendix B Quality Assurance Program. Parties not meeting the above requirements may be eliminated from further consideration, without notice, for this solicitation. Interested parties are to submit Pre-Qualification Packages for the Company or Team as a whole. Companies that team shall have a Prime Supplier/Subcontractor designated. The Prime Supplier/Subcontractor will be the direct interface between the Team and MOX Services. Team Pre-Qualification packages shall be written to cover the Prime Supplier/Subcontractor and key teaming Companies and shall be submitted by the Prime Subcontractor. Pre-Qualification packages can be obtained by emailing a request to Gale Cone at ghcone@moxproject.com or visiting our company website at http://www.moxproject.com/procurement/vendorform.html. Companies or Teams that have a current MOX Services approved Pre-Qualification package on file need not submit another package, unless the submitted package requires updating. A Letter of Interest to submit a proposal from the Company or the Team Prime Supplier/Subcontractor shall be emailed to L. Diane Martin at dlmartin@moxproject.com. The Letter of Interest shall state that the Supplier/Subcontractor has a Pre-Qualification package on file with MOX Services or that the Pre-Qualification package will be forwarded. Letters of Interest are due by 4 PM EDST on 08 Aug 07, with Pre-Qualification packages submitted by 4 PM EDST on 22 Aug 07.
