- Description
- The Boise VA Medical Center plans to award a construction project to include all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to modify the Pharmacy Clean Rooms and add supplemental cooling to the Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy. The project location is the primary campus, 500 W. Fort Street, Boise, Idaho 83702. HVAC work includes, but is not limited to, installation of fan coil units, associated ducting, controls, exhaust fans, rooftop air hander, terminal units, fan filter units, and DDC modifications for all new equipment. Also included is approximately 6000 square foot of architectural changes and associated mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems as required to upgrade the pharmacy clean rooms to the latest industry standard (USP 797). All work with the exception of installation of a rooftop air handler is within functional healthcare space. Contractors shall not interfere with hospital services. All work shall be completed in strict accordance with the contract specification and drawings. All construction and work practices shall be performed in accordance with OSHA and EPA requirements. Contractors and subcontractors are required to comply with hospital Infection Control Requirements. The procurement is set aside for Veteran Owned Small Businesses that are registered in www.vetbiz.gov The NAICS code for the procurement is 236220. A pre-bid walkthrough will be scheduled and advertised when the solicitation documents are posted to this site. The estimated cost range is between $250,000 and $500,000.
