- Description
- Furnish architectural/engineering professional services required to provide facility investigations, working drawings and construction period services for the construction project entitled "B20 Seismic Corrections", Project Number 575-08-106ES. A seismic inventory for Building 20, Transitional Care Unit, has been developed and has identified numerous structural and non-structural deficiencies. The Architect/Engineer (A/E) will be expected to review the seismic inventory and conduct on-site investigation of the building structure. The design will be such that corrections made to the steel moment frame member will meet the immediate occupancy performance objective of ASCE 31 and VA H-18-8. Project to be designed with phasing to accommodate patient care. All designs shall be consistent with the standards as set by the VA Master Specifications, NEC, IBC and NFPA. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. NAICS is 541330 with a size standard of $4.5 million. Firms desiring consideration should submit their SF 330 no later than August 23, 2007. This procurement is hereby amended to set-aside for Small Business.
