- The Department of Veterans Affairs, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Amfit of Vancouver, Wa for a Orthotic Fabricating System, to include Footfax-SL contact Digitizer, Dell Opti=Plex PC with 22" Flat Panel Monitor, Digitizer Floor Stand, CAD/AM Precision Milling Unit, Custom Mill Stand, (1) Flat Screen Monitor, (1) Keyboard and (1) Track-Ball Mouse, Amfit "Correct and Confirm" Software (installed), plus a Two (2) year warranty. The vendor Amfit will furnish multi-unit Training. Procurement will include trade-in of outdated equipment. NAICS 339113 applies. The Contractor shall provide for the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare Systems, Orthotics and Prosthetics, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on August 6, 2007.
