Description

The VA intend to award to a Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) a construction contract for the project titled "Renovate Campus Steam Condensate Return System" at the VA Medical Center, 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216. This request for proposal shall be evaluated and awarded to the contractor who demonstrates the best value to the government. The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and associated services to renovate the campus steam condensate return system and associated systems at the Dallas VA Medical Center per the construction plans, VA Specifications and in accordance with industry standards. Contractor must follow all station rules, regulations and policies to include OSHA standards. The period of performance shall be 180 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The solicitation will be available o/a 8/06/2007 with a due date o/a 9/07/07. This is a total set-aside for Small Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms ONLY. The construction cost range is $250,000 to $500,000.00. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 221330.
