- 24 July 2007 CDC Digital Surveillance System Synopsis This is a pre-solicitation notice for synopsis of CDC Digital Surveillance System at Ellsworth AFB, SD. Required services are commercial; therefore, FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Item, shall apply to this acquisition. This will be a solicitation for an upgrade to the digital surveillance system inside and outside of the Child Development Center to include replacement of (5ea.) PC-base DVR?s and (19ea.) existing B&W cameras. The upgrade will include: (5ea.) DC 7700 CMT PD/3.4 9445 1GB DVD+RW XPP SBY computer servers and (5ea.) Seagate Barracuda 7200.8-hard drive-400GB-internal-3.5?-SATA-150-22- position plug-7200 rpm-buffers:8MB hard drives; (19ea.) color dome cameras with 2.8-6.0mm lens; any miscellaneous parts for DVR, all necessary cables, and labor to install the equipment or equal products (The contractor shall perform in accordance with the standards outlined in the Statement of Work.) This acquisition will be solicited as a Request for Quote (RFQ). A Firm Fixed Price contract will result from the solicitation, & award selection will be based on technical acceptability and price. Expected work completion will be 45 days after date of award. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside per FAR Part 52.219-6, Notice of Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 517212. The small business size standard is 1500 employees. Solicitation No. FA4690-07-Q-0020 will be issued as an RFQ, & will be posted on or about 27 July 2007. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.eps.gov, with no paper copies issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation packages. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423. The 28th Contracting Squadron will consider all proposals submitted by responsible small businesses.
