- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All responses to this Solicitation/Request for Quote (RFQ) must make reference to Solicitation Number FA2816-07-T-0013. This acquisition is set-aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Code (NAIC) associated with this requirement is 611699, Schools and Instruction, with a small business size of 500 employees. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17. Los Angeles Air Force Base has a requirement for Computer Instruction at the Los Angeles Air Force Base Youth Center Bldg 425 Cyber Cafe, San Pedro California, Contract Line Item Number 0001. The Youth Center is currently interested in providing formal computer instruction to be taught on a weekly basis on Thursdays between 4:30 and 6:30 PM for the Los Angeles Air Force Base Child Youth Center. This acquisition is for the formal basic instruction offered to the members of the youth programs. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, supervision, and services necessary to provide formal basic computer instruction services. The service is for a period not to exceed one year. The contractor will provide formal computer instruction on Thursdays at 4:30 and ending at 6:30 PM. One day per week, two hours per day and twelve months per year, for fifty two sessions. The proposed contract shall be for a one 12 month Base period (1 September 2007 - 31 August 2008). Service to be accessed from LAAFB, San Pedro, CA 90245.
