Description
This is a Notification of Contract Action (NOCA) for the MAGR 2K Program. The current MAGR 2000-S procurement contract, FA8807-05-D-0001, is approaching the funding ceiling. Therefore, the ceiling must be raised to anticipate future User requirements. The Global Positioning System Wing intends to issue a contract modification for the production of additional Miniature Airborne GPS Receiver (MAGR) 2000 units. The MAGR 2000 is a GPS Receiver Application Module (GRAM) based LRU. Only the SAASM-based MAGR 2000 (MAGR 2000-S) will be procured under this contracting action. The MAGR 2000-S must comply with CI-MAGR-500A and CIGRAM-500A (with associated software Links 504 and 505) and CI-MAGR-500A SCN 001 and CI-GRAM-500A SCN001 (i.e. addendums containing the requirements for PPS Certification). In addition, the funding for SAASM integration and PPS Certification is not part of this procurement. Stand-alone SAASM-Based GRAM Line Replaceable Unit(LRUs) shall be a final deliverable and procured separately under this contract. Delivery of the MAGR 2000-S is set for FY08 through FY10. Ordering will continue through December 2009. The LRU must be qualified to the current standards and specifications prior to delivery. Raytheon shall also provide engineering technical support to the Modernized User Equipment (MUE) card vendor or vendors to facilitate successful integration of the MUE receiver card into the MAGR 2000 LRU. Intended source is Raytheon Company, El Segundo, and CA. Raytheon Company is the sole manufacturer of MAGR 2000-Ss and is the only known company capable of providing the SAASMBased GRAM (integrated into a) MAGR 2000 production requirement within the specified time period. Interested parties are invited to submit a Statement of Capabilities (SOC), which includes the following information: a technical description of the SAASMBased GRAM and MAGR 2000-S sufficient for a government evaluation of the system. Interested offerors must submit SOCs, which clearly show they are qualified to perform this effort. SOCs should be sent by 25 August 2007 to GPSW/PK, 483 N. Aviation Blvd, Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, CA 90245-2808 (Attn: Capt Mark Santasiero); The point of contact is Capt Mark Santasiero, Contract Negotiator (310) 653-3846; Mr. Matthew Segal (310) 653-3102.
