- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number F2Y2MX7128A100 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-18. This solicitation is set aside for small business; the associated NAICS code is 811310 and small business size standard is $6.5 million. The requirement is for the following: 0001 LABOR FOR HANGARS 1 AND 2 INSTALL 24 ROPES AND LOAD TEST FIVE BEAMS: 2 OVER WINGS, 2 OVER TAIL, AND 1 CABLE AND NO ROPES FOR CENTER BEAM [6 (SIX) 200' AND 6 (SIX) 50' 5/8TH POLY BLEND ROPES WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE GOVERNMENT]; PROVIDE 24 ROPE GRABS (MILLER MODEL 7Bf-16064 OR EQUAL) RATED AT 5,000 LBS FOR 5/8" ROPES; PROVIDE 6 (SIX) 200' 5/8TH POLY BLEND ROPES FOR INSTALLATION; PROVIDE 6 (SIX) 50' 5/8TH POLY BLEND ROPES FOR INSTALLATION; 0002 PROVIDE MANLIFT; 0003 WEEKEND LABOR ADDITION (IF NECESSARY). Delivery requirement: 30 days ARO, McChord AFB, WA 98438. SITE VISIT: Scheduled for the 6 August at 9:00 A.M. To obtain access to the base, the contractor must give a minimum of 24 hour advance notice to the contracting office by calling Tara Creekmore at 253-982-2399 or Eric Dismuke at 253-982-4006. To enter McChord the driver will need to show their valid drivers license, insurance, and current registration. There will be an individual at the Visitor Control Center (accessed via I-5 Exit 125) to escort prospective offerors to the work site departing the Visitor Control Center at 8:45 A.M. Recommend arriving early due to possible delay in obtaining entry pass.
