Description: Following is an excerpt from the PWS to be used in the solicitation: Subject is to train and certify entire staff of a fire station up to certification for HAZMAT (Hazardous Material) and WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction). To achieve this goal several individual classes will be provided (HAZMAT Technician, WMD Awareness, O peration and Technician). Training curriculum will be developed in accordance with the NFPA Professional Qualification Standards and the referring IFSTA manuals as implementation guidance. All host nation occupational safety and health laws and regulations applicable to local national employees will be implemented accordingly in the operational guidelines taught to meet all requirements of the BuK (Bundesunfallkasse) and the Italian insurance carrier. Courses will be presented in the local (German/Italian/F rench) language by instructors fluent in the English and local languages. Written examinations and practical evaluations will be in the local language. Test will be developed by native speakers with fire expertise.
