- PRE-SOLICIATION SYNOPSIS for a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set Aside for the U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command (USA CASCOM), Concepts and Doctrine Directorate (C&DD) at Fort Lee, VA. Contractor Combat Development supp ort is needed for the Integrated Concept Development Team for Logistics Command and Control (LOG C2) in the future Modular Force environment. Support consists of a Contractor to work closely with Logistics Innovation Agency (LIA) representatives to ensure the integration of products from LIA efforts such as Adaptive Logistics in a Sense and Respond Environment, Effects Based Approach to Logistics, and Prediction and Cooperation are incorporated into Future Logistics Concepts. Work will also entail final s taffing of the LOG C2 Concept Capability Plans (CCP) for the future Modular Force and Capabilities Based Assessments (CBA) documents, both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). For the purpose of small businesses, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, with a size standard of $6.5M and the Federal Supply Classification Code (FSC) is R408, Program Manageme nt/Support Services. The acquisition will be for a base and three (3) options. The solicitation, Request for Quote (RFQ) number W911S0-07-T-0016, will be released on or about 1 August 2007 with an anticipated award date on or about 30 September 2007. All responsible, interested parties should respond to the solicitation announcement, once posted, by submitting a quotation which shall be considered by Northern Region Contracting Center (NRCC).
