- Description
- The Government has a requirement for the rental of portable diesel powered electrical generators with a response time of 48 hours for use during emergency operations. The Government intends to establish pre-priced Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) w ith multiple sources as a result of this announcement. Each BPA will expire five (5) years after award. Individual calls under each BPA are limited to $500,000.00 or less, with a BPA total dollar limit of $3,000,000.00 All generators shall be delivered to Fort Eustis, VA, 23604 as specified per the BPA terms and each individual call. FOB point and acceptance/inspection is at destination. The Government is obligated only to the extent of authorized purchases actually made under each BPA. A list of indi viduals authorized to purchase under the BPA, identified by name of individual, organization, and the dollar limitation per purchase for each individual, will be specified in each BPA by the contracting officer. BPAs are expected to be established in Augu st 2007. This acquisition is being set aside for 100% small business (SB) participation. The NAICS code is 532490 and the size standard is $6.5 million. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or before 09 August 2007, quo tation due date will be specified in the RFQ. The RFQ shall be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (http://fedbizopps.gov/) as well as any amendments.
