Description

Seeking qualified contractors to provide the following services at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY under a task order requirements contract: Lead Based Paint (LBP) is to be removed, and/or enclosed according to all federal, state, and local regulations to include Title X of the HUD Guidelines. Work includes: The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, tools, vehicles, materials, qual ity control, equipment, and perform all work required to abate, and/or encapsulate, and/or enclose LBP and suspected lead contaminated materials located on both interiors and exteriors of various military facilities to include public buildings and housing dwellings located at West Point and surrounding areas. In addition to abatement, encapsulation, and/or enclosure services, the Contractor shall provide incidental testing for LBP and lead contamination, and be responsible for waste characterization and disposal of LBP components and LBP residue resulting from LBP abatement activities. Interested parties are asked to submit their qualifications including the following information via e-mail: (i) Geographical location of business; (ii) Size of business (large/small); (iii) Socio-economic criteria (8A, Hubzone, SDVOSB, etc.); and (iv) sta tement of contractors past performance of the same or similar work.
