Description

Requirement for award of a firm-fixed price contract to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to renovate Recreation Center, Building 2558, at Fort McCoy, WI in accordance with specifications, drawings and condition s contained in the Invitation for Bid. Subject project is subject to availability of funds. The term of the contract will be a 120 day performance time once the Notice to Proceed is issued. The project magnitude is between $500,000 and $1 Million. A 2 0% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will be required after award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a small business size standard of $31 Million. This Invitation for Bid will be solicited as H UBZone set-aside Bidding documents will be available electronically at www.fedbizops.gov on or about 10 August 2007. Telephonic, written, faxed, or electronic request for hard copies of proposal documents will be denied. Interested parties must access t he web page for issuance of the Invitation for Bid, associated documents, and any amendments that may be issued. Contractors will NOT be directly notified of amendments. The Bid due date will be approximately 30 days after issuance (initial posting on webs ite) as indicated on Invitation for Bid. All bidding forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for bid submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic submission of proposal documents will NOT be allowed. All responsible HUBZone sources may submit a b id, which shall be considered.
