Description

This Invitation For Bids will result in an award of a firm fixed price contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary for the relocation of the Guard Shack at Gate 20, located on Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. This contract period of performance of 65 days after receiving the Notice to Proceed. Project magnitude for the contract period is between $100,000 and $250,000. A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will be required after award. The NAICS code is 2362 20 with a small business size standard of $31 million. Competition is set aside for service disabled veteran owned businesses (SDVO). Bid documents will be available electronically at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 10 August 2007. Telephonic, written, f axed, or electronic requests for hard copies of bid documents will be denied. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation, associated documents, and solicitation amendments; contractors will not be di rectly notified of solicitation amendments. The Bid opening date will be approximately 30 days after bid issuance (initial posting on website) as indicated on the solicitation. All bid forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for bid submittal shal l be in paper medium. Electronic medium of submission of bid documents will not be allowed. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered. .
