- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No.W31P4Q-07-P-0584 is being issued as a request for quote. However, Meredith Taylor, Contract Specialist, (256) 876-3841 or Earnest Taylor, Contracting Officer, (256) 876-876 2 - The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) plans to award a sole-source procurement to E.H. Wachs Company, 600 Knightsbridge Pkwy., Lincolnshire, IL 60069, to provide one Wachs Air Powered SF206/3 Portable Low Clearance Split Frame Machine and one Wachs Air Powered SF814/3 Portable Low Clearance Split Frame Machine. CLIN 0001 will be issued for one each: Part number 60-AIR-06 Wachs Air Powered SF206/3 Portable Low Clearance Split Frame Machine for c utting and/or beveling 2 -6 diameter pipe, complete with 206 Rotating Ring-Set, 4-Jaw Self-Squaring Chucking System, (1) set of four each ? , 1 , 1-1/2 and 2 Extension Legs, (1) Extended Parting Tool Slide, (1) Extended Beveling Tool Slide, Starwheel Fe ed Mechanism, Right Angle Air Drive, Operating Hand Tools, Storage Case and Manual; CLIN 0002 will be issued for one each: Part number 60-AIR-14 Wachs Air Powered SF814/3 Portable Low Clearance Split Frame Machine for cutting and/or beveling 8 - 14 diamet er pipe, complete with 613 Rotating Ring Set, 4-Jaw Self-Squaring Chucking System, (1) Set of four each ? , 1-1/2 and 2-1/2 Extension Legs, (1) Extended Parting Tool Slide, (1) Extended Beveling Tool Slide, Starwheel Feed Mechanism, Right Angle Air Drive , Operating Hand Tools, Storage Case and Manual.
