- US Naval Hospital Guam (BioMed Div) intends to enter into negotiations with BioMerieux Inc, 100 Rodolphe St, Durham NC 27712 with the intent of awarding a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b). The resulting contract will perform preventive maintenance service on two (2) government owned Model Vitek 60 Microbiology Analyzers, serial numbers DCSA5305 and DCSA6525. Located in the Laboratory Dept, 4th Flr. POP 15 Sep 07 to 14 Sep 08. Sole source determination is based on the need to meet and maintain Biomerieux?s equipment in accordance with the manufacturer?s standards. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Though, parties interested in responding to this notice will need to submit technical data to include costs, enough to determine capability in providing the same service. All capability statements received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered for the sole purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Capability statements shall be submitted via e-mail only as an Adobe PDF or MS Word attachment. Deadline @ 10 Aug 07. Phone calls are not accepted.
