- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole-source procurement to Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC), 6125 East 21st Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219-2058 to modify the SHARP system to provide the capability to transmit selected frames of SHARP sensor imagery over a Common Data Link 10.71 low rate channel to be received and displayed by a ROVER III ground station. RTSC, as the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the SHARP system, is uniquely qualified to perform this work since they are the sole Pod manufacturer and have retained the technical data and expertise necessary to incorporate these changes into SHARP. The Government?s intention is to award a firm fixed price type delivery order under contract N00019-05-G-0008 for this action.
