- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Patuxent River, MD, intends to award a sole source modification to Raytheon Technical Services Company, under Contract N00019-05-G-0008-0027, in support of AN/ALQ-99 Band 2/3 Product Support. The modification of this contract is being made in order to procure 75 PA modules P/N CB013436-2 under a Firm Fixed Price line item under the current contract. These PA modules will be used in the Interim Band 2/3 Transmitter and configured in a series- parallel configuration and generate the final RF output. They will replace P/N CB013436-1 and the form-fit-function interchangeable DB05346-1, which previously used a discontinued RF transistor. The new part will require a drawing change to the current configuration, and testing and evaluation of six First Article Test units to ensure they are operational. The period of performance will be from the date of the contract award to 31-December-2008. Numbered Note 22 applies.
