- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at https://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. Offerors are encouraged to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for Hemispherical Near Field Range Arms and H-Frames as follows: Commercial Item (steel fabrication); Manufacture, deliver and install Arm and H-Frames for FBI Engineering Research Facility in Quantico, VA. The Arm and H-Frames are a unique design composed of two composite tubes attached to a large diameter steel tube to provide a cantilevered support for RF test devices, in accordance with the provided drawings and Statement of Work, the H-Frames are adjustable frames designed to support variable loads for RF testing purposes. The contract for this procurement will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Solicitation N00164-07-R-8922 will be issued on a full and open competition basis. RFP will be available for download at www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/07-R-8922 on or about 3 August, 2007. Closing date will be on or about 17 August, 2007. Delivery will be F.O.B. destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Bldg 3168 Code 8091, Crane, IN 47522. NAICS Code 333512; FSG Code 5450. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation to be considered. Submitting a bid from the NECO web site by clicking on the "Submit Bid" does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of Offerors to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane to be considered.
