- Description
- FBO NOTICE: The U.S. Government Accountability Office intends to issue an award under other than full and open competition to Informa Research Services, Inc., 26565 Agoura Road, Suite 300, Calabasas, California 91302-1942 for the purchase of competitive financial data on selected fees associated with checking and savings accounts. Informa currently serves more than 3000 financial institutions including all the nation?s top 25 banks. Specifically, the financial data will include summary statistics (percent offering, average, standard deviation, range and median) on specific fields, such as monthly maintenance fees, overdraft fees, and automated teller machine (ATM) fees. The statistics should be reported as of the end of year for 2000 to 2006, on a national basis as well as broken down by asset size (large, medium and small), type of depository institution (bank, thrift, and credit union), and some type of regional identifier, such as city or state. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 30 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22.
