- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard Aircraft Repair and Supply Center proposes an increase in ceiling price under contract HSCG38-05-D-200001, for Technical Representative and sustaining engineering services for American Eurocopter LLC. Services to be performed include replacement of the Automatic Flight Control Systems, integration of the Aircraft Ship Integrated Secure and Traverse Systems, and replacement of the Cabin Sliding Door and the Left Sliding Door. The Coast Guard also intends to purchase prototype and production items, which may arise from engineering efforts. Prototype and/or production items will be procured by delivery orders and negotiated individually. The contract shall provide: engineering advice, information and training for Coast Guard personnel, and logistical studies to support the Multi-Mission Cutter Helicopter (MCH) plans and life cycle cost data. The work under this contract requires the use of American Eurocopter proprietary data. American Eurocopter is the sole design authority and holds the proprietary rights to the drawings, specifications and data rights. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with American Eurocopter, LLC, Grand Prairie, Texas for this increase on the existing contract. Manufacturer?s specifications are not available and a solicitation will not be issued. Firms that believe they have the capabilities to provide the required services must submit a full capabilities statement by the closing date of this synopsis with their proposal demonstrating their ability to perform the required services on the specific aircraft including description of facilities, equipment, management, personnel and previous experience. Firms expressing their interests must show in their capabilities statement how access to data will be accomplished.
