Description
In accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2), the Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), part of the Army Contracting Agency (ACA), is announcing the intent to award a sole source, time and materials, follow-on contract with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). SAIC is located at 10260 Campus Point Drive, San Diego, CA 92121-1522. The purpose of this follow-on contract is to provide the Army G8 with a decision support system designed as an integrated, quick turn-around planning tool to assess actual or notional force structures and/or policies across the Armys functional areas (for ce structure, personnel, logistics, sustainment, training, infrastructure, and budget). The period of performance of this requirement is for a base period (16 SEP 07 - 15 JAN 08) plus a two-month option period (16 JAN 08  15 MAR 08). SAIC is the only responsible source with the knowledge, expertise, and capabilities to perform this requirement. AFM is a complex large software suite of more than 600,000 lines of code. The current contractor built the applications for G-8 and is fully knowledgeable with the unique data interchange requirements. The capability statements shou ld include the company name, address, contact information, business size, and detailed explanation of how your organization can meet the requirement described herein. All statements should be submitted via email to Ms. Patrice Hargrove, Contract Speciali st at patrice.hargrove@hqda.army.mil. Individual responses containing company proprietary information must be marked accordingly. Such information will not be released outside the Government. Furthermore, the Government shall not be liable for or suffe r any consequential damages for any technical information identified (e.g., limited and/or restricted rights).
