Description
Information Needed: SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement; a market survey for information only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARD ED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community (Small Business (SB) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Veteran Owned Small Business Concern (VOSB), Service-Dis abled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Historical Black Colleges and Minority Institutions (HBCU/MI), and Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises) to compete and perform a Service and supply Contract. The Government is seeking qua lified, experienced sources capable of performing following requirements: REFUSE/GARBAGE DISPOSAL SERVICE FOR LEWISVILLE LAKE, RAY ROBERTS LAKE, AND GRAPEVINE LAKE. The work will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to prov ide, maintain, empty, and service refuse/garbage containers and to pick up other specified refuse/garbage at the reservoir/lakes. The Contractor shall, without additional expense to the Government, be responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses and/o r permits; and for complying with Federal, State, County, and Municipal laws, codes, and regulations in connection with the prosecution of the work. All requirements of Municipal Solid Waste Management Regulations, Texas Department of Health Resources, as amended will be met. The City of Lewisville requires that collection companies which operate within their City limits have a franchise agreement with the City. The Contractor shall be required to have such an agreement with the City of Lewisville within ten (10) calendar days after receipt of award of the contract. The Government is requesting that members of the Small Business Community interested furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. (2) Type of Small Business Community member (Small B usiness (SB) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), Veteran Owned Small Business Concerns (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDV(SB), Historical Black Colleges and Minority Inst itutions (HBCU/MI) Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises) under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562111 which contains a size standard of $11.5M. (3) Identify servicing Small Business Administration Distr ict Office. (4) Provide a general statement of your capabilities and demonstrate the capacity to perform the work. (5) Contractor shall provide no more than three (3) references, for no more than three (3) of the most recent and relevant contracts, perfor med within the last five (5) years. (6) Provide the Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) number. For assignment of DUNS number, contact the Dun and Bradstreet office at 1-866-705-5711 or via the Internet at http://www.dnb.com). The DUNS procedures replace t he previous ACASS system/procedures. All contractors, to be eligible for award of a Government contract, MUST be registered in CCR.
