- Description
- The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration, National Weather Service, National Reconditioning Center (NRC), has a requirement for a supportable circuit board test system to replace the existing GENRAD 2272 system. A full range of NEXRAD legacy test fixtures must be transitioned to the new board test system. The capability to add future circuit board test board capabilities (new TPS and fixtures) is expected to be inherent. The replacement system must be administrable and supportable by trained NRC technicians (including any man-machine interface MMI operating system) or, for more serious system problems, through a telephonic call-up and/or NRC initiated call-our repair request. The acquisition will include the pertinent system licenses, initial system training, system documentation and any recommended repair parts. The system must be supportable for a minimum period of 5 years following system installation. Solicitation Number specifications and bid documents will be available on or about May 10, 2007. The NAICS code for this item is 334412 or 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The Central Region Acquisition Division requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisitions Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR.
