Description
Solicitation AG-82AT-S-07-0019 will consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary to re-route of approximately 0.5 miles of new road known as National Forest System Road 119.0. Work shall include, but not limited to, 0.5 miles of new road reconstruction, soils and erosion control, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, roadway obliteration, aggregate, 18-inch culvert installation, 36-inch culvert installation, and buck and pole fencing. This project is located on the Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forests and Pawnee National Grassland, Canyon Lakes Ranger District. Directions to the project site, from the highway 34 and highway 36 intersection in Estes Park, travel East on highway 36 towards Boulder. After about 1.3 miles, turn right onto Fish Creek Road. Travel South on Fish Creek Road for about 2.9 miles, then turn left onto Little Valley Road. Little Valley Road enters the National Forest in about 2 miles and turns into National Forest Service Road (NFSR) 119.0, Pierson Park Road. Continue following NFSR 119.0 generally south for about 2.3 miles where the road abruptly turns north and enters a large meadow at the base of a high, rocky peak. The project is located in and adjacent to this meadow. Work for this project is expected to begin on or around September 10, 2007. The project time for this project is 60 calendar days. The anticipated release date for this solicitation is August 8, 2007. This solicitation will be available for download, at no cost, at www.fbo.gov. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
